Microsoft Office Outlook Live

I responded to a mailing to join the new "protected" mail service offering a
combination of my Microsoft Office Mail and MSN Mail/Hotmail service. The
service cost is $59/yr. and was offering a 25% discount to subscribe prior to
April 19, 2005. I proceeded to download Microsoft Office Outlook Live.
Apparently there is a two step process. I downloaded the service and
installed. Then following the installation process for Microsoft Office
Outlook Live Connector. However, I was unable to install this and have been
unable to get any assistance. There is a checking of my computer internally
for the software ID and because it was not installed, there is hence no ID
and I can not proceed. So, since following the steps to install and unable
to install, I am stuck. I do not seem to be able to get assistance, nor
reinstall. What do you (or, anyone) suggest? Thanks.

You don't say why you were unable to install. (error messages, power
failure, insufficient user permissions). Off the top of my head I would
try correcting the issue and re-install.

Outlook Live is part of the Microsoft Hotmail service. I am not sure if it
is compatible with the Office version of Outlook or even if it will install
if you have Office version of Outlook installed. In any case it is a lite
version of Office Outlook for Hotmail users.

Suggest you go to Hotmail site and use the help and contact us features of
the site.
