You still need the CD to finish the install.

called the Local Installation Source Tool that you can use to disable the
Local Install Source. Then you can download the 'full file' version of the
Office 2003 SP1 Update (72 mb download). In most cases, the 'full file'

When you do have access to the CD again, I recommend that you use the Local
Installation Source Tool to enable the Local Install Source again. The
benefit of an intact LIS is that you can install any updates to Office 2003
