Try this...
1) Click on "Start"
2) "Run"
3) In the run box type: "C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~1\Office10
\OSA.EXE -o" without the speechmarks.
This assumes Microsoft Office is installed in the default
location. You may also type in the run box (EXACTLY as
below WITH speechmarks):
"C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT OFFICE\OFFICE10\OSA.EXE" -o
Again assuming Office is in the default install location.
If this start the Office Shortcut bar, create a shortcut
in "Startup" with the same command line.

I had install oficce Xp 2002 and have activated the
office shortcut which was working fine untill today when I
noticed that the bar did not come up at startup. I tried
to restart the bar but it would not work. I
reinstall/repair office but still can not get it to work.
