Microsoft Office XP Standard - Student Edition

Hi, I'm considering purchasing Office XP Standard for
students/teachers edition for my sons and had a few
questions regarding content and compatibility.

First, is the student/teacher version different from the
non-student/teacher Office XP standard version?

Second, my sons' computer currently has Microsoft XP Home
loaded. Will Office XP Standard student/teacher version
work with XP Home?
