Microsoft Outlook 2007..Not able to send/receive email

C

Since Tuesday I haven't been able to get my email. I had an error code about
my login/password. But I no longer get the error so I can't post it. The
sen/receive when at the right bottom stays on and continuely runs....i get a
box that says enter network password Type your username and password
server...mail.comcast.net
username..&^%$%$
password..(*&&^&*
Click ok or cancel. I hit ok and it keeps preparing and the same box
reappears over and over. I ran Microsoft diagnostics and the outcome was ran 5
identified 1 problem
took corrective action 1
Not sure what i should do to fix this. Thank you. Carolyn

Have you verified your settings with Comcast?

Do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates itself with Outlook?
Uninstall this integration part of your virus scanner and try again; you'd
still be sufficiently protected by your on-access scanner part of the virus
scanner. For more details see;
