Microsoft Outlook hangs when exit

Sir/Madam,

I installed Microsoft Office 2000 in Windows XP and
configured my .pst file and Exchange server.

When i log and exit the Outlook 2000, my application gets
hang. In task manager, i can see the
process "MAPISP32.EXE" is running along
with "OUTLOOK.EXE".

what would be the issue? kindly help me in this regards.
