Microsoft Photo Editor saves changes in temp file not My Pictures

J

or anywhere else I try to save them. I rename them and try to save the
changes to desktop even but they still end up in a windows temp file. This
means I have to take several steps to get a jpg file altered and eventually
to email (Outlook Express)

I can't email from Microsoft Office 97, either. It says I'm missing a .dll
file when I try. I use both comcast and hotmail for email.

I use office 97.

TIA,
Jois
