Hi,

I have the microsoft excel viewer 2003 and open office installed on my
computer.
I can't see any reports from project. It tell me that I do not haev excel
installed.
We are using open office in our company. Is there a way to have project open
the excel files in open office or into the excel viewer?

Not sure what is the problem.
Thanks!

Visual Reporting in MS Project 2007 requires a licensed copy of MS Excel 2003
or later. For use of Visio reports you will need a full version of Visio
2007. Viewers apparently are not going to work for you.

At this time there does not appear to be interoperability with Open Office,
a non-Microsoft Project. Perhaps someone has this on their roadmap.

You can probably conjure up some VBA with reference to a Microsoft Excel
object. If you are able to save the resulting file with an .XLS format, then
your Open Office might be able to open the file.
