Microsoft Project - are background color changes possible???

Hello - I'm trying to highlight specific rows in Microsoft Project and make
them different colors for different tasks I've set up. Is it possible to do
this without using the "Grouping" function?

Cell background formatting is a new feature of Microsoft Project 2007, but
is unavailable in any previous versions of the software. Hope this helps.
