Microsoft Project Professional 2003

I am trying to buy Microsoft Office Project Professional 2003 but, I am not
sure if I can run it in standalone mode. Could an experienced user please let
me know if they have been able to use this or know anyone who has used this
in standaolne mode. (ie-non enterprise environment)

Hi Karen
You can use Project Professional in standalone mode.
The benefit of using pro now is later if you decide to move on the Project
server level you will not have to buy seperate licences for pro.
However if you buy standard now and later plan to migrate to Project Server
additional Project Professional licences will need to be procured

Please be advised that Project 2003 and Project 2003 Server are becoming
harder to find. If you ever want to move to Project Server, I would advise
purchase Project 2007 Professional.

When using Project Server, you must match version to version: 2003-2003,
2007-2007. Project does not interoperate between the versions.
