If you know the name of the documents or some of the text in the documents,
then you can search your harddrive for them.
To search, right-click your Start button and choose Search.
Please note that your question really doesn't belong here in the PowerPoint
newsgroup. You'll generally get better answers if you post in a group that's
relevant. In this case, it would be a Windows newsgroup matching your
version of Windows.
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/list/en-us/default.aspx has
a list of newsgroups by name. Look near the bottom of the list for the
various Windows newsgroups.
