Migrating an Installation

I am trying to migrate an existing Project Server
installation from one environment to another. The
databases were backed up and restored without any
problem. However, the Project Server and Project Pro
2002 access into the databases is not working.

I have gone to the manage SharePoint Team Services admin
function within Project Server and added the new database
server and database names of the new environment and
still nothing.

If the enterprise resource pool is in the database,
shouldn't I be able to access it through Project Pro?

Any help on this is appreciated.
