Milestone view of multi-projects

Teresa

Hi, I need to generate reports in milestone view for multiple projects with
Project 2003 professional version. The milestones are in the forth level of
outline, and the four levels are
Level 1: department
Level 2: project
Level 3: summary tasks
Level 4: subtasks and milestones.
I haven't figured out how to keep this hierarchical structure in the report.
Can someone help me? Thanks.

Create a master project consisting of all the desired projects as
subprojects (open a blank project and then click Insert - Project). Expand
all of the subprojects and then select the Milestones filter. This will
show you all milestones in all projects, along with the WBS for each
milestone. Hope this helps.

Hi Teresa --

You mentioned that you're using Project Pro... does this mean that
you're also using Project Server and Project Web Access (PWA)?

If so, then you may be able to create a view in PWA which will display
the milestones across all projects... provided that it is a standard
set of milestones for all projects, and provided that there isn't a
large number of milestones in each project...

Good luck!
