I am very new to Onenote (2007) and have not yet been able to test all the
functions but so far I LOVE what I see and have pushed for my employer to
purchase Onenote for use in our organization.
I've been asked to check the ways it will benefit us so that I can show it
will be worth the cost involved.
I can see many areas that this product would be very useful to us.
Currently we are big Excel users and use excel for many of our daily
records. We have however found it difficult to share Excel files with
multiple users who may need to make changes, especially at the same time.
This was the first thing I fell in love with about Onenote. Its share-ability!
My suggestion is: I wish Onenote had more excel functions so that some of
the benefits to using excel could also be used in Onenote.
Benefits like:
Highlighting entire rows even if there is no text.
Adding columns (totalling numbers in a column)
Basically more excel functions overall.
I love! Many of the features I've used and seen so far and can't wait to
share this with co-workers. I truely feel it will make our lives much easier
in many ways. I just miss my excel functions when using onenotes.
