You must be having connectivity issues as it definitely exists. I copied

You don't reinstall the entire computer. You just insert the Office 2003
CD, and ask it to reinstall Office. It leaves all your settings, data etc.
intact. The whole process takes about ten minutes.

Look, I know you're trying to help, but please don't be such a knowitall
ass and try reading my post.
Unfortunately, I'm not willing to reinstall my entire laptop - I don't have
an install CD for OneNote; it comes as part of the Toshiba Restore
procedure.

Note the part which asys "I don't have an install CD for OneNote - it comes
as part of the Toshiba Restore procedure".

No Office 2003 CD.
No way of installing One Note again without doing a complete wipe of the
laptop.

Do you understand now?

Simon, my OEM contacts told me that the installation source for OneNote is
on the Toshiba recovery CD. Browse the CD to see if there is a OneNote
folder on it.

Simon, my OEM contacts told me that the installation source for OneNote is
on the Toshiba recovery CD. Browse the CD to see if there is a OneNote
folder on it.

Yes, it would appear that there is.

No, it doesn't work.

It is still missing CAB files no matter which subfolder I point it to on
that CD.

I just moved house, so I don't have access to my product key for OneNote
right now. To install the upgrade I'm guessing I'll have to uninstall
OneNote, and reinstall and reactivate, then put on SP1.

Can't do that. *sigh*
