Missing messages from Deleted Items

Hi,

Have anyone seen emails missing from Deleted Items (similar to empty deleted
items). We are sure we have not empted deleted items and is sure that auto
archive have not empted the folder as well (I assumed)...

Are there ways to "recover" all those emails?
