missing Microsoft Office Document Image Writer

J

Jarbacky

Hi,

I've read through all the posts I could find but none of those
solutions work for my user. My user needs Microsoft Office Document
Image Writer but it is not present as a printer for her. Also,
Microsoft Office Document Image Writer is not an option as a Port or in
Add/Remove->Change->Office Tools.

Does anyone know the file location and name for the driver or if
knowing this will even help? Maybe I can add it manually. Any
suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
bec

Has it been installed? (not sure if it's available in Office 2000,
but):::::

1.. Run setup again for Office or your Office program.
2.. In the Maintenance Mode Options Setup dialog box, select the Add or
Remove Features option, and then click Next.
3.. In the Custom Setup Setup dialog box, select the Choose advanced
customization of applications check box, and then click Next.
4.. In the Advanced Customization Setup dialog box, click the plus sign
(+) next to Office Tools in the list of applications and tools.
5.. Click the symbol next to Microsoft Office Document Imaging, and then
click Run from My Computer on the shortcut menu.
6.. In the Setup dialog box, click Update.

Hi Troppo,

It's not part of Office 2000. MS Office Document Image Writer is an Office 2003/2007 feature.

===============
I've tried all the above but have had as much success as a fart in a fan factory. Using Office 2000. Can anyone confirm that
microsoft office document image writer is present in that version.
Thanks

Hi Bob,
I have Microsoft Office 2003, but when I set up my new internet fax service
to integrate with Outlook, Outlook says it isn't detecting the Microsoft
Office Document Imaging Software and that I need to run Office 2003 setup
program to remove the driver and then re-run the setup program to add the
driver back.

How do I go about doing that?

Thanks!
Saundy
