Copied a 2003 database to a workstation. When opening... get the message
"... could not find the object MSysDb."

Another 2003 database works just fine on the workstation.

Hi, Glen.
When opening... get the message
"... could not find the object MSysDb."

Sorry. The file is corrupted. Restore from backup or else create a new
database file, then try to import the objects from the corrupted file into
it one group at a time (first the tables, then the queries, then the forms,
et cetera) -- if you can.

HTH.

As Gunny states the MDB is corrupted. For more information on
corruption including possible causes, determining the offending PC,
retrieving your data, links, official MS KB articles and a list of
vendors who state they can fix corruption see the Microsoft Access
Corruption FAQ at http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm
