And this is helpful how? It's not unlikely that he does not know how
to do this. As someone who's been a software developer for 18 years,
I find it difficult, also. The first problem is that I just don't
have to do it very often, so it's easy to forget how. The second
thing is that M$ does not make this easy, when they could. And I've
been looking for the answer, as others do, and this answer from you is
not helpful. I've seen your other answers and have benefitted from
them, but why answer at all if you can't offer more detail or a link
to more detail? I was able to get back to the Internet Options
Programs tab and see that Outlook Express is set as my newsreader, but
I can't add it to the Go menu. It gives my an X icon. I've found a
lot of std. answers that work if everything is perfect, but there's
some setting or some issue that's making this a problem and I've run
into it before and I've seen messages from others who've run into it.
So obviously it's a common thing that M$ does not bother to program
for. There is no wizard. There is no decent help. And searching for
this on the Internet just brings up a bunch of hits for pages that
copy the std. solution from the M$ page. I'm really praying for Linux
to continue to make inroads. The only reason M$ can continue to do
their "we finally get it right on the third version" over and over
again is that they have a strangle-hold monopoly grip on this
industry. They can get away with so much crap that would sink any
other company.
