Missing Product Key

I purchased a dell laptop with Microsoft Office back in 2002 and never used
or installed Publisher 2002. Trying to use it now and it is looking for the
product key. I can't find the original disks. Is there some way to discern
the key from the other microsoft office apps that I have running? I have
found the "Product ID" in Excel but it is only 20 characters long and the key
is 25 characters in length.

If any part of that version of Office has been installed, go to
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html. Download Belarc Advisor and your
Office PID will be (should be) listed there.

If the program had been installed
you might find the key by running
Belarc Advisor.

For OEM software support you have
to deal with the computer manufacturer.
