Missing Received column

Frank Grimes

Hello Everyone
I have a problem with the received column missing in a
bunch of folders. I figured out how to restore the column
in a single folder but the problem is the guy I need to
fix this for has saved every email he has ever received
since he first got email. He has about 150 to 200 folders
and I need to restore this "received" column for every
folder. I did the first 10 and decided to look for a
better way. I googled and could not find a solution. Can
anyone help me out? Thanks in advance.

Does the user have a lot of custom views he won't want to lose? If not, try
starting Outlook once with the /CleanViews switch to restore all folder
views to the default factory settings, then make sure one of the views is
set up the way the user wants it and apply that view to all folders. You
can't automatically apply the view to all folders at once, but the user can
set that view on a particular folder next time he goes there...and if he
uses the Messages view, chances are each folder will already be set to that
view by default.
