Missing Rules

C

Carl Thoreson

I have a client who says he attempted to set up a rule to copy message from
specific senders to a specific folder. However, the rule apparently never
worked as a much wider range of message from many other senders are also
copied to the folder.

What the problem is now, however, is that I cannot find the rule! It does
not show up under rules and alerts, but clearly there must still be a rule,
as messages continue to show up in the folder he specified. The only rule
that shows up in Rules and Alerts is a rule to "Clear categories on mail
(recommended)"

Can anyone provide any ideas as to how I can find this rule? Are the
parameters for the rule stored in the registry or some sort of file I can
access?

He claims that he used to have many other rules also, but I can only see the
one rule.

He is using Pop3 mail with a PST file.

Any help or ideas is appreciated.

Thanks,

Carl

Version of Outlook? Was the rule created using this version or did he create
them in an older version then upgrade?
