Missing shortcut?

I cannot seem to find a way to get around multiple copies
of mail. If I receive an e-mail, and forward it, I have a
copy in my "sent" folder--which I can only seem to delete
one at a time. Then the copy in my inbox, which I can
delete, and then I have to delete the "deleted items"

Too inefficient. I want to know how to delete the
whole "sent" folder. If I want to fill up my cpu, I'll
move it to the draft folder or forward it to a better e-
mail service, where I also have a mailbox.

The program is only doing what it should do. To delete
everything in Sent Items, do a Ctrl+A and then delete.
Set your option to dump your trash upon exiting so you
don't have to deal with it.
