Missing Slides in powerpoint 2003

This has been really bugging me. If I have a user send a powerpoint file in
powerpoint 2000 to a 2003 version, slides are missing in the view as well as
the printed version. Even if you save it in ANY format, it still shows up
with missing slides.

It only seems to happen when someone sends a version with Powerpoint 2000 to
a user with powerpoint 2003.

Does the presentation have hidden slides?

Are the slides itself actually missing, or is the content *on* the slide
missing? (In other words, do you just get a blank slide instead of a slide
with content on it?)

Have you applied SP-1 to Office 2003? If not, you need to. It's a critical
update that often resolves these "missing images" issues.

Soory for the delayed response. Those fixes worked. Thank you so much for the
expertise. My company has yet to roll out the SP1 for office 2003 but still
deploys the software.

Thanks again. You all are fantastic
