Missing "Versions" in Word

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Has the command just moved to a new menu/dialogue, or what has happened to the ability to save multiple versions of a document in Word 2008?

Newly upgraded and wondering where this useful feature went to.

That feature was removed, because it was rarely used and very unsafe.

If you kept multiple versions in a single file, the document was likely to corrupt. And when it did, you lost the current and all previous versions.

Save a new file each time you make a change :)
