Monte Carlo for Project 2002-2003

Mark Durrenberger

Hi all,
Oak Associates now offers an add-in for MS Project 2002-2003 that allows you
to range estimate activity effort and duration. The tool also runs a Monte
Carlo analsis using your range duration estimates. The Monte Carlo
simulation is an inexpensive alternative to other risk analysis tools.

The tool is called Ranger and it is available for a 30-day free trial. You
can learn more about it at:

Thanks for checking it out,
Mark

Thanks Mike. Were you telling me this because of other MC software or
because I should be listed there (and not here <blush>).

Take your pick, Mark :)

Microsoft tends to frown upon advertising in their newsgroups.

Yes I figured. That's why I'll only post once. The good news is that my tool
might help sell more copies of Project. Microsoft might like that. I've
emailed the 100 words to your mvp account.

Thanks,
Mark
