movie clips don't play anymore

I put four presentations together for a football clinic last year. They all
worked great for the clinic, but now the video slides won't play. I just
read a long piece on MCI, Multimedia Control Interface, from Austin Myers.
Maybe another program installation changed, damaged, or removed a driver or
codec. Any ideas?

If you read that piece by Austin, you will have noticed his suggestion to
test using mplay32.exe Do your files run in that media player?
