First we need some information on how the DVD was created. Using Explorer
look at the files in the DVD. Are they *.vob and *.ifo files or are they
*.mpg files?
If they are *.mpg files they can be copied to your hard drive and inserted
in the normal manner. (Be aware these files are usually quite large.)
If they are *.vob files you *may* be able to copy it to your hard drive and
change the extension to *.mpg and use them in the normal manner.
If this does not work (renaming the extension) then in all likelihood you
will not be able to insert them in the normal manner. You can however play
a DVD inside of PowerPoint by using PFCMedia.
If you can change the extension to *.mpeg I would still suggest using
PFCMedia to insert them as it will SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the file size and
the resulting presentation will "Play For Certain" on just about any Windows
PC.
