Moving FS linked tasks in project

How can one get their project's tasks to move automatically when the
durations of other FS linked tasks are manipulated periodically? My project
files used to do this automatically, but now I have to press F9 to get it to
recalculate. Somehow all of my project files are doing this, and its
frustrating me. How can I get it back to the way it used to be?
