The Office CD's were supplied shrink-wrapped, not pre-installed, so could it
be that they are not tied to anything?

As for Open Licence, for some reason the Office licences are not included -
done before my time with company.

Then the OEM disks should be fine. If you have to use phone activation
ensure you mention that you are reinstalling to the origonal PC's
'As for Open Licence':- I didnt make any mention of this
