just installed a microsoft office vertion that only install once ( from us
military ). installed on brand new p.c. , but the p.c. now has a problem .
the p.c. vendor said they will replace the p.c. for free this friday.
will the UNINSTALL from one computer and INSTALL on another computer work ,
or do i have to call microsoft to have the licence key released. and then
registered to a new mother board/proccesser/ XP os? i will be doing the
unload on friday and the install on a different p.c. on saturday ( no other
access time for the p.c.). so is weekend calls ok? where do i find the
phone number to call for this licence key move ?

Hi, marty12983,

Install on the new computer. If internet activation fails, use the
telephone method and explain the situation to the operator. When you choose
the telephone method in the activation wizard, the numbers are provided for
you then. It's usually a very straightforward process.
