Moving to a new computer

I've got to switch around several computers today, and that includes
moving Outlook. My wife's W98/Outlook 2002 machine is getting replaced
by my XP/2003 machine, and I'm getting a new XP/2003 machine, so we need
to move my stuff, get rid of it on my machine, and move her stuff to my
machine.

How do I go about finding the necessary files and what import/export
must I do so that everyone's email ends up where it's supposed to? I
have access to a network drive onto which I can easily copy files from
the "old" machines then bring down to the "new" machines if that makes
things easier but the machines cannot see each other.

Thanks in advance.

http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm describes all the Outlook files.
Copying some of them is nice, but unnecessary. The only file you really
need to worry about is the PST. See here:
http://www.howto-outlook.com/Howto/backupandrestore.htm

Don't use export/import. Just follow the advice to copy the PST.
