Hi,
How can I delete the recent documents view, next to the new, open, save
menu?

Hi Jerald,

The 2nd column will be there, but you can have it 'blank' by using Office Button=>Options=>Advanced=>Display and set the
'Show this number of Recent Documents" to zero to clear it.
