MS Project 2003 fails to startup?

Hi All,

My IE 6 security setting were changed to "High". Subsequently MS
Project 2003 starts up with the prompt "Scripts are usually Safe. Do
you want to allow scripts to run?" activex objects etc. I am always
ending up with the Report Generation error Send report to Microsoft and
application crashes?

Any help is greatly appreciated in fixing this problem?

I have tried lowering the security in IE but that has not made any
difference. Also tried adding the UFIControls in the registry and that
has not worked either.

If you are refering to Project Web Access please try the following

Open IE then tools->internet options->security->trusted sites-> click on the
button sites and add your project server URL location here


If you need the post replys to your email id you may have to check the box
"Notify me of replies"

Hi,

I am not connecting to Project Central. This is an issue with MS
Project 2003 on my local machine. I start Project up, it comes up with
the splash screen. Clicking on the splash screen then starts the popups
with the different messages and then it crashes.

Hi,

I have tried re-installing the software and applying service pack 2,
and have the same results. I really need to get this thing to work. I
would really appreciate a fix for this issue.

Hi,

I think the time has come to contact Miscrosoft support as there would seem
to be some incompatibility with your Windows set up and Microsoft Project.
