MS Project want all task on one timeline

Without using visio can you have a single time line in a gantt chart.
objective is to view the process as one line

RLRll,
Project doesn't have a lot of functionality with regard to its graphics
presentation. Summary lines can be configured to show the essence of
their subtasks on a single line but other than that, you will need to
use another, more graphics intensive application.
