MS Scanning does not save full numbers to Word, HELP

PeterM

I'm using MS Office 2003 Standard. I tried for the first time ever to use
the scanning feature, and I found out that it doesn't work real good. I
scanned a small set of numbers, the scan looks beautiful, and has all the
numbers on the scan. When I bring the scanned numbers into Word, it leaves
out 10 numbers, it shows only 10 numbers. The image is crisp, and I can't
figure it out. Any suggestions would be very much
appreciated.............Peter

I'd suggest trying the scan with the OCR software that came with your
scanner. See if that makes a difference.

Hi Peter,

Are you using Word 2002 or Word 2003?
After scanning in MS Office document imaging can
you select the text that was converted that contains
the numbers and copy and paste it into a Word document?

What font or font type was used for the numbers you're scanning?
