Is there a way to upgrade my Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003 to
Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003. (Getting the Access 2003
Publisher 2003 and Business contact manager for Outlook 2003?)

Hi Debra,

Unfortunately MS considers moving laterally within the
Office 2003 product family to be a crossgrade rather than
an upgrade. If you have had MS Office 2003 less than
30 days you can use the money back guarantee and purchase
the Office 2003 Professional Edition instead as one option.

Thanks for your reply! (didnt much care for the anwser. : ( )
They should fix that! I already spent 400. I just check to see how much
access 229.00 and publisher 169.00 - thats 398.00 for another 100.00 you
get the pro with everything. Do you think they would fill sorry for someone
who just lost their job after 28 years? Nevermind. I do think if you have a
key
to a standard edition, to upgrade should be possible. I got this last Jan
knowing
I was losing my job in July. Now taking classes...I got the wrong one! kick
me!

Sorry about the job. ON the other hand, based on my experience, a new
job is a new journey which may well be better for your.

Perhaps you should have saved some money and procured another less
costly or free product, e.g. OpenOffice (www.openoffice.org) for the
main functionality of Office to leave money left for Acces and Publisher.

That being said, make sure you really need these products. Access is a
industrial-strength database application for which you really need to
have had some training and much experience to make the investment
worthwhile. Also make sure you need/want Publisher. I find it a very
weak product and not worth the money. There are better products
available (some free).

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
