MS Word Help

I keep a personal journal using MS Word, I have Office 2000. Last week I had
a big problem and had to revert to my HP System Recovery Disk, I have since
reloaded Office 2000 sp2. In the past I was able to go to my directory click
on the journal I wished to update and it would load MS Word and the Journal,
now I get this message with I try that procedure.

"C:\My Documents\Journals\ Personal Journal of xxxxx xxxxxx.doc is not a
valid Win32 application"

This is the same document I created with MS Word, I can load MS Word then
open the journal so I have a "work around" but I would rather click the file
and have it load as before. I also noted that the sysmbol in front of the
file in the folder has changed.

Can you help me ????

In Windows Explorer, Right click on the file, select Open With -> Choose
Program, Select Word from the list and check the Always use... box, then OK.
