MS Word/Page number won't update auto/Help

Hi,

I have created a fax template and in a section of the
page I have:

Pages (including this one): {NUMPAGES \* MERGEFORMAT}

When I go onto the second page this doesn't update and I
have to manually highlight it > left click > Update field

Is there a way for this to happen automatially like it
does in the HEADER/FOOTER?

If you are using forms for your template, you can force the update by using
a macro on exit from the last field, similarly if you are using a userform
to gather the data, you can include the update code in the associated
macros - or you could simply put a button on the toolbar and click it! See:
