MS Word Send As feature

Any time I try to send a Word Doc as an attachement, MS
WORD lunches another window wanting me to configure IE.

I look in the settings under MS Outlook and MS Word can't
seem to find anything to make Outlook be the default amil
program upon executing the "file>Send To mail receipient as
attachment" action.

Plese help.
