MS Word slowdown and lockup

I have several computers on a SBS 2000 network that are having increasingly
frequent problems with MS Word slowing down, or more often, just locking up.
Sometimes rebooting the computer helps for a while. Anyone aware of any
particular issues that may be causing this?
