MS Works 8

I have just purchased Works8 and it will not install in Windows XP Home
Edition... anyone have the same problem? I'm ready to return it. The disk
will not launch the setup - even when I go into the drive and click on the
setup icon, it will not launch. Then\ at one point, the disk refused to
eject from the drive! The laptop computer is new with no problems reported.
