MS Access 2K/XP front end to SQL Server 2K back end app where users
attach (link) files using OLE.
Users want to attach email messages but...
--when a .msg file is attached, although it seems to be linked to (or
embedded in) the database just fine, it can't be opened.
--.htm files are also problematic since IE can't be used as an OLE
serer.
Is there a way to easily convert .msg or .htm files to, say, .doc
files without losing the header info on who sent what/when etc.?
OR, has anyone figured out how to make OLE happy with .msg files?
Thanks!
