MsiInstaller error Event Id 11327

I see the option to select the C:\ drive and the network drive but it wont
allow the selection of the C:\ drive for install. When I disconnect the
network drive, it still wont let me install on C:\.

A lot of different people are using and installing\unistalling software on
this server. Something related to the OS or Office was corrupted.

The CD is fine.

Also, this is after uninstalling Office. So Office should have no
relationship with the network drive. I'm not trying a repair or update.

a server?? Anyway, a local account is a bad idea if the install source
was a network location.

You could tell the network drive to "Reconnect at Logon" under Windows
2000, not sure about Windows Server 2003, you could also create a small
BAT file to map the drive for you.
