MSP 2003 on Vista: macro security settings disabled?

T

Tom

I just installed MSP 2003 on Vista. I'm running as an admin and ran the exe
as admin.

However, the options to change macro security are disabled/dimmed out.

Any idea why?

Try changing the security settings in Vista. I have both 2003Prof and
2007Prof installed on a 64bit Vista machine and I am not seeing this
situation.

I took a quick spin through my control panel but saw nothing to get excited
about. Sorry I am not able to be of more help -- at least you know it is a
config problem, not Vista wide.

Thanks for the try, Jim. I have a colleague who also is running Vista w/o
this problem ... and I don't have this problem in any other Office program.

Weird.

Hoping someone else here will have an idea for me.

Hi Tom,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

I have Vista Home Premium and I have no problems with macro security with
2003 Standard. It sounds like a Vista problem. Try looking for a newsgroup
that deals with Vista security.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
