Muliple Instances of Project

I have a dual monitor setup on my desktop computer. I want to open two
instances of MS Project 2007 side-by-side so that I work on them.

When I try to open the 2nd instance of Project, it activates the 1st
instance. Is there any way around this..?

Thanks,

D

Hello draff,

Sorry, you cannot run multiple instances of project. Try using the
Window > New Window command to open multiple windows of project and
drag the windows to the monitors as needed.

I hope this helps.

Good day,

I do this all the time (with just one instance of Project running). First,
hit the "Restore Down" button (the middle button in the upper right corner of
the window), then drag the window across both monitors to fill both screens.
Next open a project, hit "Restore Down" and move/stretch it to fill the right
hand monitor. Open the second project, hit "resore Down" and move/stretch it
to fill the left hand monitor. You can now work in both projects at the same
time.
