Multiple brower problem

Does anyone know how to stop the multiple browsers from
opening?

When someone send me an email containing a link which I
then click on multiple browers open.

I only want one Explorer window to open not 100s per day
as a have to close all of them.

PS I'm using Windows 2000 Professional version

Do multiple windows open by clicking just one link? Or one for each link
clicked?

If one window opens for each link and assuming you use Internet
Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, "Advanced" tab, make sure
"Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" is checked. Did it help?
