Multiple Copies of Mail Received in Outlook 2007

I recently upgraded to Microsoft Outlook 2007 and continue to receive 2, 3 or
4 copies of most of my mail every day. Sometimes it occurs when I log off
and back on again and other times it just happens while I’m logged in (no log
off required). This happened to me last year when using Outlook 2003, and I
resolved the problem by deselecting the option to "leave a copy of the
message on the server". However, I am now a Blackberry user, and was not
receiving any emails on that device. I was advised by Blackberry support
that I must leave a copy of all mail on the server in order for it to be
transferred to the Blackberry. When I go to Verizon Net Mail (my ISP’s
web-based email), I receive only 1 copy of each message. Verizon blames
Microsoft. I am inundated with emails.

I also have several email addresses set up under one profile, one of which,
I log into using Intermedia.Net's exchange server (not sure if any of that is
relevant to this problem.)

Does anyone have a solution?
