Multiple Resources with different starts

Hello,

This may be quite simple but I am doing it quite manually now. Is there a
better and more efficient way of doing this:

I have a task A with 2 resources. Resource1 starts today and will stay till
the end of the task for 1200 hours. Resource2 comes in later after the
initial 600 hours have been covered, and will join Resource1 to quicken the
task. So, this Resource2 will start from the 601st hour and will continue
till the task ends. How and when do I allocate the Resource2? I am sure
Project will calculate the end date automatically.

Hello Dip,

Us ethe Task form to do that: Window / Split
Then : Format / Details : Resource Schedule

For the second resource , enter 601h in the Delay column.
Enter the proper value in the Work column
