Multiple sent attachements and Messages

Today I sent an email in outlook XP with an attachment
and it never left my outbox. I saw that when I strarted
getting undeliverable messages from people since I had
filled their mailboxes because my message had been sent
over and over again.
This is not the first time. The attachment I was sending
was 3mb.
